Aurangabad, March 19: Sanjay Taksande took charge as the director (Operations) of MSEDCL today. He has been selected for the post through direct recruitment process.With 31 years of experience in key positions in the power sector, Taksande joined the present MSEDCL and the then Maharashtra State Electricity Board in 2003 as an executive engineer at the Mumbai corporate office. He worked as superintendent engineer and chief engineer at various places. In the direct recruitment process in October 2015, Taksande was selected as executive director (Distribution) at the Mumbai corporate office. In April 2019, he became the director (Operations) of the Mahatransco Company. He has also worked at the Central Electricity Authority, New Delhi as well as at the Powergrid Corporation of India, Mumbai.
