NetworkAurangabad, Feb17:The suspectkilled his wife by hitting her head with a big stone and later with a rod atPisadevi on Tuesday, which is clear from the post mortem. He also broke thefinger of the hand of his seven years son, who tried to intervene in thequarrel and and also hit a fist on the face of his three years old daughter. Afterthe incident, the suspect Siddhesh Gangasagar Trivedi, washed his blood stainedhands and feet and fled away on his scooter. The police could not trace himeven after 40 hours of this incident.The Chikalthanapolice said, Kavita Trivedi, a resident of Rukhmini Square Apartment atPisadevi was murdered by hitting on the head and the incident came to the foreon Tuesday at around 8 pm. On the basis of the complaint lodged by JagdishIshwarrao Avasthi (Lohner, Deola, Nashik), father of the decased at Chikalthanapolice station, a case of murder was registered against Siddesh. The postmortem was conducted on Wednesday morning in which it was found that Kavita wasfirst strangulated and later was hit hard on the head. There were injury markson all of her body. The last rites were performed on her at Pisadevi onWednesday at 4 pm.Under theguidance of deputy superintendent of police Dr Vishal Nehul, three teamsincluding Chikalthan Police Station API Vishwas Patil, PSI Thube, constableRavindra Salve, Ajit Shekde, Sopan Dakle, Deepak Deshmukh, Deepak Surase, AnnaGawande and officers of local crime branch have launched a massive manhunt forSiddhesh.Siddhesh’sparents were working at the Aurangabad Agriculture Produce Market Committee.After the death of his mother, he gained the job as clerk in the committee oncompassionate basis.Kavita’s parentscalled the neighbours on phone on Tuesday at around 5 pm. They told them thatthe house was locked and children were crying inside. Hence, the Avasthi familycame from Nashik to Aurangabad. The neighbours then broke the door and foundthat Kavita was lying in the pool of blood. The nighbours then informed theChikalthana police.
