Aurangabad, May 27:The rural police local crime branch arrested a motorcyclethief who used to steal motorcycles from Aurangabad city and sell it throughhis friend in Bhokardan and Sillod areas. The arrested has been identified asRameshwar Machindra Taji (31, Bakwalnagar, Waluj). The police have seized threemotorcycles amounting Rs 1.5 lakh from him.Four months back, the police had arrested Taji’s accompliceand seized 24 motorcycles from him. He confessed that all these motorcycleswere stolen by Taji. He was at large since then.The police were after him since then. The police on Thursdayreceived the information that he was hiding at his home at Bakwalnagar. Thepolice laid a trap and arrested him. The police action was executed by PIBhagwant Phunde, PSI Sandeep Solunke, constable Shrimant Bhalerao, DhrajJadhav, Balu pathrikar, Rahul Pagare and others. The police seized threemotorcycles from him and he told that two of these were stolen from Aurangabadcity and one from Mumbai.
