The Bollywood music composer whose real name was Mohammed Zahir Hashmi passed away at the age of 92, late on Monday at a private hospital here following a brief illness, an aide said.Survived by his singer wife Jagjit Kaur, Khayyam is known for his classics "Kabhie Kabhie" ftom movie by the same name, "In Ankhon ki Masti" from "Umrao Jaan", "Aap ki mehki hui zulfon" from "Trishul", "Ae dil-e-nadan" from "Razia Sultan" among many many others.He also composed music for Meena Kumari's album, "I Write, I Recite" featuring her singing her own poetic compositions.This is what celebrities have tweeted:Lata Mangeshkar tweeted in Hindi: Legendary musician and a beautiful soul Khayyam Saab is no more.
