The principal of Sadhana College, which is situated in Ram Nagar, Wagle Industrial Estate area of Thane district of Maharashtra, was accused of misconduct with female teachers at college premises. After receiving the complaint, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers beat the principal.The principal has been identified as Satyendra Mishra, accused of making obscene comments and inappropriately touching women lecturers at the Sadhana Junior College of Arts, commerce, and Science in Wagle Estate. MNS workers apprehended the principal and handed him over to the Srinagar police. Police sources reported that efforts to register a case against the principal at the Srinagar police station continued late into the night."Four teachers from the college came to our office and complained that the principal was engaging in inappropriate behaviour. Acting on this, our workers went to the college, confronted the principal, and handed him over to the Srinagar police," said MNS Thane city president Ravindra More.He further added, "To prevent such incidents, CCTV cameras should be installed in the offices of teachers and principals in all private schools and colleges. A letter will also be sent to the district administration regarding this matter."
