Aurangabad, May 22:Notorious goon Vishal alias MadyaPhate was murdered over a dispute at Hotel Mrugnaini in Bajajnagar, Waluj areaon Friday night. The police arrested three out of the eight accused absconding afterthe murder at Patoda Shivar on Saturday at around 5 pm while massive manhunthas been launched for the remaining five accused.Notorious goon of Wadgaon KolhatiVishal alias Madya Kishor Phate (26) with his three friends had gone to HotelMrugnaini for a party. At the same time, Ajay Pradhan of his opposite gang andhis accomplices came to the hotel for party. Vishal and Ajay had a quarrel andthey brought him out of the hotel. Meanwhile, the accomplices of Vishal ranaway from the scene. Sachin Somnath Pradhan (29), Ajay Somnath Pradhan (23),Atish Laxman Kale (32, all residents of Wadgaon) severely beat Vishal. Ajay hitVishal with a stone on his head due to which he fell unconscious. Later, Ajayand his accomplices fled away from the scene.The nearby residents informed aboutthe incident to the Waluj MIDC police and Vishal was rushed to the GovernmentMedical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared him dead ataround 10.45 pm. A case was registered against eight accused at the Waluj MIDCpolice station. After post mortem, the body of Vishal was handed over to hisrelatives and last rites were performed on him at Bajajnagar crematorium ataround 4 pm on Saturday.Meanwhile, constable Prakash Gaikwadreceived an information from the informer that Sachin Pradhan and hisaccomplices fled away towards Patoda Shivar in a white car. The police laid atrap at Patoda Shivar and arrested Sachin Pradhan, Ajay Pradhan and Atish Kale.Namdev Pradhan, Darshan Chaudhary and other three accused are still at largewhile massive manhunt has been launched for them.Last year, Vishal Phate was arrestedfor the murder of Yogesh Pradhan, brother of Ajay and cousin of Sachin. Vishalwas released on bail. Sachin and Ajay were waiting for an opportunity torevenge their brother’s murder. Hence, they beat Vishal on Friday, the arrestedaccused told the police, the sources informed.The police action was executed by PIPrashant Potdar, API Gautam Wavale, PSI Satish Pandit, ASI Quyyum Pathan,constable Prakash Gaikwad, Nawab Shaikh, Avinash Dhage, Sudhir Sonawane, DeepakMatlabe and others.Meanwhile, DCP Nikesh Khatmode –Patil and ACP Vivek Saraf informed that the hotel Mrugnaini will be sealed asthe owner kept the hotel open despite the rules imposed during lockdown. Later, mandal officer L K Gadekar, talathiPunamsingh Rajput, Bhagwan Pawar sealed the hotel on Saturday at around 8.30pm.
