A labour inspector was caught red-handed by the Lokayukta for taking a bribe of Rs 10,000, an official said on Monday."The complainant, Shivani Sharma, ran a company called Tirupati Herbs. The company has been closed these days. The labour inspector, Manoj Tomar had conducted the inspection of the company and found various irregularities. Following this, he established a case and imposed a penalty of Rs 1.5 lakh," said Lokayukta DSP Praveen Singh Baghel."Tomar demanded a bribe of Rs 25,000 for the settlement of the case.
